It is very important to keep a copy of any reservations that you make for your vacation. I always carry a copy of the actual reservation confirmation with me to avoid any discrepancies. There have been a few times that my hotel room has not matched the room reservation that I made. If they are not able to change the room to your preference, then they should be able to offer you a discount or other freebie for the hassle. Make sure to ask!
In this section of the Vacation Binder I put all of my reservation confirmations into sheet protectors. I file them in chronological order, the reservation that I need first on top. After I have finished with that particular reservation, I simply move the sheet protector to the back.
To make life simpler, I also make a less detailed itinerary with important information on one sheet. This helps me keep track of names, addresses and confirmation numbers without having to browse the entire confirmation.
